I walked into the kitchen this morning and noticed that the trim outside our window was reflecting red. So I peeked out, ran and got my camera, and snapped a few shots. They are from the backyard since I was in my PJs, so this is the best I could do. This is the raw image, no color adjustment or enhancements. Just pure beauty. And only for about 2 minutes did it look like this.

Hey, two minutes is all you need! Gorgeous shot and well done!
Lovely colors! Like a ribbon.
Oh my goodness Samantha. What an absolutely LOVELY sunrise. What a beautiful way to start the day. I love it. Gorgeousness for certain.
Stunning!
Isn’t it amazing to see the colors in a sky such as this? I think it’s more apt to happen in a dry landscape. However, the closest I came to seeing such beautiful colors was when I lived on a tiny island in the western Pacific and the sunset was over the ocean. Beautiful shots….and I’m so glad you took them to share!
Thanks everyone for the compliments! I so wish I could claim credit for this beautiful photo, but we all know the beauty of nature is undeniable!!
Wow! God sure painted a beautiful wake-up call at your place! Just gorgeous!
Oh my, oh my. Gorgeous color!!! What a gift to wake up to and be able to capture!
GORGEOUS colors!! You did an amazing job capturing this!!
Stunning! We live in a low area and can’t see sunrises or sunsets from the house. What a blessing!
