Ever since I put our old coffee table on craigslist and the lady wanted our matching side table, I have been searching all over for side tables for our living room. I found these at Target which I really liked, but couldn’t convince myself to pay $99 for each. I also wanted side tables with a drawer for remotes and such.
Finally, I found some listed on craigslist for only $100 for both. There was a small drawer and a bottom shelf for storage. Although they weren’t round, I couldn’t resist going to look at them based on the amazing price. This is what we ended up with, and I only paid $75!
The plan is to remove the jail bars on the sides of the bottom and maybe the corner decoration piece. Our entertainment center is very simple and has straight clean lines. Then I want to paint in black, add different knobs, and if I don’t get too lazy and have time, I want to tile the top with these tiles from Home Depot.
What do you think? Anything you would do different?
