The Big 25

OK, I’ll stop there. I know you don’t care about how many hours that is.
Or how many minutes?
Or do you?
Because it’s actually 219,000 hours.
Moving right along,
today is this guy’s birthday.
That’s right, today my husband is celebrating his 25th birthday.
And I’m so happy that 25 years ago, he was born on this day.
Because it makes the life and love I have with him possible today.
The first year we were together,
a friend and I splurged and did a dual birthday and going away party by renting a limo and bar hopping.
The last few years we’ve trekked into town to spend some quality time with both our families and a few close friends.
Barbecue, pizza, banana pudding, cupcakes, family, friends, and good times have made each of his birthdays special.
This year we also went into town, albeit a few weeks early, to continue the tradition of hanging out with family and friends.
But tonight, courtesy of Groupon, we are headed to a local smoke-free (hooray!) sports bar to have some good food and a few beers with some of our friends here in town.
So if you feel like it,
you can leave a little birthday message for the hubby down in the comments.
Or you can give him a hard time about getting a speeding warning on our way back from a wedding on Saturday night.
We put it up on the fridge next to mine from Arkansas last weekend.
And just so you know, we are headed to New Mexico in May,
and we hope to make it 3-3-3.
3 speeding warnings in 3 states in 3 months.
That’s a joke mom and dad.
Kind of.
Anyways, I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, a beautiful Easter and thanks for letting me ramble on this morning about how my husband is finally old enough for us to rent a car and not have to pay the $60 under-age fee. And here’s to lower car insurance!

Happy birthday to your hubby!!!
