It’s been almost two weeks since I really blogged. Sorry about that. There is a lot going on in our house these days, but most of it is pretty boring, monotonous and not blog-worthy. We’ve had the occasional interview, and there has been a lot of waiting. And I mean A LOT of waiting. If you follow me on Twitter, you know that I haven’t been tweeting as much as I used to, and when I do, it’s about the job search. Sorry about that also. It’s not so much the search that bothers us, as it is the unreturned phone calls and ignored e-mails.
In the meantime, here is what the uneventful days consist of.
A morning walk with the dogs to get our day started.
Lots of job searching.
A couple hours of Rosetta Stone to brush up on that degree I got two years ago.

Last week we went into town for interviews and to take a break from life out here.
We spent a little time relaxing by the pool.
We even got to hang out with our nephew for a couple of days.
And most recently, we made two trips to the vet with our sweet Torre girl.
Right now, I’m working on a big new project. I posted a picture on Facebook a few days ago. It requires lots and lots of painting, but I’m so excited about it! Don’t worry, I will definitely blog about it when I’m done! 
That’s about it for us. The hubby works all day, then we spend time together at night. That time together has become very important for us, and we value it more now than ever before.
