Yesterday I showed you guys our front porch makeover with our galvanized bucket planter, which I finished on Wednesday.
And even though our front porch looked like this when I woke up Thursday morning….
… I still thought I would share a tutorial for how to create a planter from a galvanized bucket!
It was actually pretty easy. Here is what you will need:
- A galvanized bucket
- A drill
- A 1/4 drill bit
- Pea pebbles
- Potting soil
- Plants of your choice
See? Pretty easy, right friends? I love the way flowers look against the metal, and now I have a planter that I can change out as the seasons change. Speaking of seasons changing, I think we skipped fall. Which in Texas, isn’t surprising, but the 6 inches of snow we had yesterday, were surprising! Needless to say, yesterday was the perfect time to start planning our ski trip… I am so excited I can barely stand it!
