I’ve mentioned before how much I love LOFT, and when I was in there to exchange something from Christmas the other day, I noticed they were starting to get out their spring clothing. From plink blazers to yellow pants and turquoise pumps, they were taking basic wardrobe pieces and adding a punch of color! Now I’m starting to get in the mood for some warmer weather and a brighter closet! What color are you excited about wearing this spring?
We don’t actually watch awards shows, and last night was no different. But I always watch for People.com to post all the red carpet looks. These are my three favorite dresses from last night.
1. Kate Hudson- One of my favorite actresses and such a beautiful lady. I love her classic style and this dress is to die for!
2. Michelle Dockery- Thanks to Sara, I am now obsessed with Downton Abbey. The set, costumes, hair and make-up never disappoint, and I look forward to many more red carpets looks from Michelle. I also see some wedding dresses spinning off this look soon.
3. Jennifer Lawrence- I fell in love with The Hunger Games over our summer vacation and Jennifer Lawrence is one gorgeous girl! I think her hair and make-up really complete this look and it seems red was the go-to color for this awards show.

You’ll also know that I’m always so cold that gloves are an absolute must for me once the temperature drops (which it hasn’t here in Texas as Thanksgiving day boasted a beautifully warm 70°).
